How to get to Odeillo

By plane :
The easiest way to go to Odeillo might be to take the plane to Barcelona-El-Prat airport (which is located 190 km away from Odeillo). There is also an airport in Girona (178 km from Odeillo), in Toulouse-Blagnac (183 km) and in Perpignan-Rivesaltes (90 km). Then you can rent a car (if you are in group) or take a train direction Puigcerda or Latour-de-Carol.
If you arrive at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport :
- You can rent a car from Toulouse-Blagnac Airport to Odeillo (2h40mn)
OR
- At the airport, there is a shuttle (5€) to take you to the train station (every 20mn, duration: 30mn).

Then, you can take the train from Toulouse train station Matabiau to Latour de Carol (3h).
Timetable :
Latour de Carol is situated about 20 minutes from Font Romeu. You can take a taxi from there (30/40€).
If you arrive at Barcelona-El-Prat Airport :
- You can rent a car from Barcelona Airport to Odeillo (2h15mn)
OR
- At the airport, to go to the train station, you can either take a bus shuttle or a train shuttle.
The bus AEROBUS leaves from Terminal 1 and 2 and will get you to Placa Catalunya where you can get a train to Puigcerda.
The train shuttle leaves only from terminal 2 and will get you to Barcelona Sants where you can get a train to Puigcerda.
You can take the train from Barcelona to Puigcerda (3h).
Puigcerda is situated about 20 minutes from Font Romeu. You can take a taxi from there (30/40€).
By car :
- From Perpignan : RN 116 direction Andorra
- From Toulouse : RN 20 direction Andorra then RN 116 direction Font-Romeu
- From Barcelona : C16/E9 direction Andorra
By bus from Perpignan (1 euro) :
If you get to Perpignan TGV Station, and you don't want to rent a car, there is a direct bus to get to Font Romeu. The line is 260 and it costs only 1 euro. You can find the schedule here.
