The SOLLAB Doctoral Colloquium on Solar Concentrating Technologies provides an opportunity for PhD students from different European research institutes to discuss about recent advances in solar concentrating technologies. It is part of the European project SFERA, which aims at integrating, coordinating and further focusing scientific collaboration among the leading European research institutions in solar concentrating systems.

The 9th SOLLAB was organized by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and took place at the Hornberg Castle located in the Black Forest in Germany. The Colloquium was held from the 13th to the 14th of May, 2013. Afterwards, the SFERA Summer School was hosted at the same location between the 15th and 16th of May, 2013.
